Frequently asked
Does cropping delete the trimmed content? +
No. Cropping sets the visible page box, so viewers and printers show only the part you kept. The objects outside the crop stay in the file but stay hidden. To drop them for good, print the cropped PDF back to PDF.
Will the crop work in every PDF reader? +
Yes. The tool sets both the CropBox and the MediaBox, so readers that ignore the CropBox (and most printers) still honor the new page size.
What does Auto-trim do? +
It scans the rendered first page, finds the box around the non-white content, and snaps the margins tight to it. Handy for killing scan borders or wide page margins.
