Frequently asked
Will the aspect ratio be kept? +
Yes. The presets resize by height and keep the original proportions. With Custom, set just the width or just the height and the other side is worked out for you. Set both and the Fit option decides how the frame maps: contain letterboxes, cover crops, fill stretches.
Does resizing change quality? +
Resizing re-encodes the video to H.264, so it isn't lossless. You get a standard MP4, and downscaling usually shrinks the file too.
It says my browser can't encode H.264. What now? +
Some browsers (Firefox, mainly) have no built-in H.264 encoder. Open this tool in Chrome or Edge, which both ship one, and the resize works. Either way it runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
