Frequently asked

Is my MP4 uploaded anywhere? +

No. The conversion happens in your browser with WebCodecs. Your MP4 never leaves your device. No upload, no watermark, fully private.

Why convert MP4 to MOV? +

MOV is Apple's QuickTime container, which Final Cut Pro, iMovie, and QuickTime Player open natively. Both MP4 and MOV use H.264 video here, so the picture stays the same. Only the container changes.

It says my browser can't encode H.264. What now? +

MOV uses H.264 video. Chrome and Edge can encode it. Firefox currently can't. Open this page in Chrome or Edge and try again.
